Black Drongo
The Black Drongo (Scientific name: Dicrurus macrocercus) is an all black bird with a distinctive forked tail which is displayed so beautifully in the picture. Black drongos are aggressive birds and don’t think twice about taking on bigger birds if they feel their territory threatened. This was clicked in the vicinity of my apartment at Trivandrum in May/2022.
