Flower-hanger
The Purple-rumped Sunbird (Scientific name: Leptocoma zeylonica) is a sunbird endemic to the Indian Subcontinent. Like other sunbirds, they are small in size, feeding mainly on nectar but sometimes take insects, particularly when feeding young.
This was clicked at Trivandrum in March/2015.
Always wonderful when we manage to click pics of birds, butterflies etc 🙂
