Another new visitor in my locality, a Grey Wagtail (Scientific name: Motacilla cinerea). “The species is widely distributed, with several populations breeding in Europe and Asia and migrating to tropical regions in Asia and Africa. They are usually seen on open marshy ground or meadows where they walk solitarily or in pairs along the ground, capturing insects that are disturbed.” says Wiki.

I found this bird walking on the roof of the house diagonally across mine, quite a distance off actually for my camera to get a good enough picture. This was the best I could manage. Clicked at Trivandrum in Dec/2014.
